A Nice Egyptian Alabaster Jar - Middle Kingdom. An Egyptian alabaster jar, Middle Kingdom, c. 2061 - 1690 BC, ovoid in shape with flattened base, the mouth slightly narrowed with wide, flat rim. The inside has been bored vertically with concentric ridges running the length. H: 4 ½” (11.4 cm). Some weathering and minor chips. Ex New Jersey estate. Est. Value $600 - $700.
