Iron Spear Point. A large iron spear or javelin point from Western Persia, ca. 1000 - 600 BC. It is 3-7/8” long, has widely flared barbs and the prominent mid-rib characteristic of the type. In excellent condition, with strong mineral encrustation. Ex Ohio estate.
