A rare pestle from the Michoacan-Colima border region of Mexico, ca. 300 BC – 200 AD. It is 3-1/4” high and is topped with a pair of bird heads representing the male-female duality motif. It is perforated at the top for suspension and shows expensive mineral deposits. Ex Simpson estate. Value range: $200 - $400
