A Yortan black-ware vessel from Anatolia, Early Bronze Age II, ca. 2700 - 2400 B.C. , the round body resting on three tapered feet, the neck tall with flared mouth and two lug handles. The vessel is incised with intersecting lines filled with lime or chalk for contrast. The rim with two holes to secure a lid, the two lug handles pierced likely for suspension. H: 4 1/8 in. (10.4 cm). Some minor repair and weathering overall, two of the three legs with antique restoration. Ex Rilling collection.Estimated Retail Value: $350-500.
