A nice Byzantine Bronze Stamp Seal, 6th-8th Century A.D. , a bronze stamp seal of conical form, a circular suspension loop above horizontal ridge. The circular base is deeply incised with a swan or peacock, with pellets in the field and an altar or wreath before. 14 x 11mm. Well-preserved with attractive deep brown patination. Ex J. L. Malter.
