An ancient Egyptian Gilt Cartonnage male Diety. A gilt and painted cartonnage figure, possibly Osiris. Depicted seated, wearing the atef-crown and false beard. A sceptre perched on his raised kness. His face, crown and sceptre gilded. Ptolemaic Period, 300 - 30 B.C. 2 3/4 inches high. Mounted. Antwerpe art market, early 1980's. Value range: $300-$350.
