Thai Buddha Head, Sukhothai period. A beautiful bronze Buddha head from Thailand, c. 14th - 15th century. This lovely Sukhothai period example is 1-5/8" high and depicts Buddha with a flame-shaped aureole, finely curled hair, and a slight smile. In excellent condition, with strong mineral deposits. Mounted on 2” high wood base. Ex Devenyi collection.
