Hellenistic Megarian red-ware bowl. A beautiful Hellenistic Megarian red-ware bowl, 2nd – 1st Century BC, the base centering a rosette, molded relief with petals radiating from a central rosette, small chevron-type devices between. Intact with two very minor rim nicks. D: 3” (7.6 cm); H: 2 1/8” (5.3 cm). Ex C.A. collection, Geneva, formed in the 1970’s. A lovely piece! Value Range: $700 - $900.
